Check out the thank-yous from our clients 2011: Norfolk Good morning Renae PICK ME. I'm available to check out Norfolk Island anytime for you!! just a quick note to say THANK YOU. After nearly 10yrs I finally made it to Norfolk Island and to The Governors Lodge. I was more than impressed with my holiday. But way too short in time, needed more than a week. There's much more to see. Very impressed with the service from your staff and have and will continue to mention to my friends about your company. Lucky for us we went on a terrific special and being on a very limited budget found our trip very affordable. I was surprised to find a light supper supplied by Governors Lodge waiting for me after arriving some time after 9pm in the room. The cabin was terrific with space and very clean. Food, I was forever asking for a small serve but they don't know what that means. Only wanting to stay at the Governors Lodge for so many years I was not disappointed but delighted with their service and the Tuesday afternoon nibbles with the manager was so interesting especially with a lovely local descendant giving a talk. Loved the car. Wow the little green monster took us to so many places. Think we travelled on nearly all roads. Discount dockets were great, obtained a few extra discounts here and there. Tours booked before leaving worked out fine. Sorry we didn't think of booking the Murder Mystery Dinner Night, Ghost Walk, and The Trial of 5 or was it 8. Not to worry, their on the list for the next visit.!! Delighted with suggested tours we went on. Island Fish Feast with Les on his property, (have to find out more about the air vent from the extend volcano we could see at sunset). The Orientation Tour of the island is a must and for a new comer explained so much. Tour with Arthur which ended up to be Rick on Life as a Convict Tour & Pitcairn Pioneers Tour was great and even though it was a little wet worth it. The NI Language Class was interesting followed by the Culinary Journey. Head still spinning with all the information I have learnt. We also booked on Wonderland at night which was also fantastic. Found on Wednesday morning the Book Shop Cafe has a free weaving lesson. Terrific, now have a book mark and a Hat. Personally made by Greg. We were lucky to be able to watch the cargo ship unload. My friend Pattie from Sydney and I seemed never to stop but the holiday was relaxing. Met so many lovely locals and visitors. Knowing a local Buffett family I was lucky to be invited to look around their garden. So beautiful. Shopping, well, we both helped support the income of the island with our purchases. I found Norfolk Island very friendly, clean and safe. Enjoyed everything and especially the friendly N I wave from everyone, even if on a bike, riding a horse or in the car. A must to listen to was the local radio at 7am each morning hearing what's on. (This is where we heard about the free weaving lessons at the cafe and the ship unloading). I have enclosed a photo of Pattie and myself, silly pic but I'm the taller one. My holiday was very special and your company helped me with that. I will be telling all about Spacifica Travel. Thank you again. Kind regards Robyn Tomlinson 2011: Vanuatu 2011: Lord Howe Island 2010: Norfolk Island
