Earl’s Anchorage is Lord Howe Islands’ premium self contained accommodation. This property boasts 6 architect designed luxury air-conditioned bungalows. Each generously sized bungalow is different, some more noticeable than others. Different roof shapes, window placement and proportion are used to creative interesting space. Each living area has direct access to an outside deck and a northerly aspect to maximise winter warmth. Ceilings are all unique, from sweeping vaults to pitched. All buildings are of eco sustainable design and are free standing no adjoining walls) for maximum privacy. A boardwalk meanders through the property connecting each bungalow giving a nautical village free. This is unique accommodation that responds to the climate, topography and feel of Lord Howe Island.

The 4 x 1 Bedroom and 2 x 2 Bedroom (each bedroom has it’s own en suite) are fitted with quality furniture and fittings. Each has its own private laundry and BBQ facilities. Earl’ is officially rated by AAA Tourism at 4.5 Stars and is centrally located on a 5 acre estate among the native Kentia palms and subtropical gardens. We are within walking distance of restaurants, beaches, shops and many scenic walks. Your host is a direct descendant of the islands original settlers.
